The draft is the one component you can't miss when you're in the bottom tier of revenue generating teams; and KT failed far too frequently here.

Even Towers admited on 1090 AM that the Bush pick was his miscommunication with Moores. That years draft was one of the few that Towers would have had a hard time messing up and he still found a way.

I agree. Very good points. As great a sludge merchant as KT is/was, he was batting below the Mendoza line with the draft. The Pads need to rectify that to ever become a serious year after year contender.
