619 Sports learned earlier today that SDSU junior right-hander Tyler Lavigne has signed with the St. Louis Cardinals, agreeing to a minor-league deal worth a reported $18,000. Lavigne was selected in the 50th and final round of the 2009 MLB Draft, leading most to speculate that he would return for his senior season and lead the Aztecs as their ace starter.
