Perhaps no player will be more important to the success of the 2010 Chargers than fourth-year wide receiver Craig (Buster) Davis. With Vincent Jackson embroiled in what figures to be a lengthy holdout, Davis will get his chance to prove himself worthy of the Bolts’ No. 1 selection in the 2007 draft.
Injuries have helped limit Davis to just 30 catches and 1 touchdown through his first three NFL campaigns. But the former LSU star tells 619Sports.net that he’s finally healthy and ready to take off in 2010.
His has been a career that hasn’t exactly unfolded according to plan, but Davis says he has put his frustrations behind him and is ready to prove he’s no “bust.”
And, oh, where’d that nickname come from anyway?
