The San Diego Sockers will have home field advantage in their quest for a PASL-Pro championship.  The league decided on Tuesday night to move the playoffs from Cincinnati to Del Mar in a vote of coaches, GMs and owners, bringing the six-team, three-night championship to the West Coast.

The opening round of the PASL playoffs will take place on March 11th, with the semifinals on the 12th and the championship on the 13th.  All games will be played at the Del Mar Arena.  Six teams will make the playoffs, with the divisional champions receiving byes into the second round.

On Thursday night, after the Sockers wrapped up their final practice in advance of Saturday’s showdown game in Stockton with the California Cougars, head coach/GM Phil Salvagio spoke to 619 Sports about the big news:
