This week, we ran a creative contest to seat two players in Matt Vasgersian’s 3rd annual charity poker tournament, taking place tonight at the Hall of Champions. We asked our users to come up with, in 300 words or less, a clever, poker-analogy filled look at the Chargers. Who are the “aces” on the team, and who are the “rags” that need to be tossed in the muck?
Those were the directions, we got lots of terrific entries, but two clearly stood out as winners. As such, Simone and Mike will be seated with me tonight, hoping to catch some of those aces and not so many of the rags!

619 Sports is teaming up with Matt Vasgersian’s 3rd annual Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament to give you a chance for glory on the felt and on the web! The tournament, taking place this Friday (11/13) at the Hall of Champions, will benefit Tender Loving Canines and the Champion Sports Academy. Players will be rubbing elbows with local athletes and celebrities while battling in a no-limit Texas Hold’em tournament. The entry fee is $200, with some terrific prizes, a silent auction of great baseball memorabilia and more, well worth it for a fun night’s entertainment and a great cause.
