A couple of housekeeping notes this morning…

- With the Chargers off this weekend, obviously there’s no Chargers preview podcast this week…but starting next week, our What To Watch For podcast will be delivered a day early to newsletter subscribers. It will post on the site on Saturday, but can be in your inbox on Friday!
- Tonight, 619 Sports will be at the two best high school games in the county. I’ll be at #7 Vista vs. #4 Escondido, and our cub reporter Jimmie Olson…er…Kyle Englehart will be at #10 Mission Bay vs. Lincoln. Two terrific showdowns, and you can keep track of both games by following our Twitter feed for live-tweets on the action. We’ll have complete postgame coverage of both games later in the night, with downloadable interviews, photos and full stories.
- Later this afternoon, Geoff Young from Ducksnorts will join us for a New Media Roundtable on the Padres. Geoff is a terrific writer and I look forward to the conversation. Look for the podcast to post around 2pm today.
