Three days of drafting are in the books and while we don’t know yet how any of the players selected by the San Diego Padres will do in the pros, we can get a general sense of what the organization was trying to do in the 2009 Amateur Draft. Craig and Chris are pretty happy with the direction taken by Grady Fuson, Bill Gayton and Kevin Towers, but Chris notices one glaring omission in the draft list.
