After training for two years on a secondhand banked track in their private training facility, the San Diego Derby Dolls have finally reached their goal of bringing their first ever, public banked track bout to the fans of San Diego. On Saturday Feb. 6 SDDD’s Banked Track All-Stars will face the Mitten Kittens on SDDD’s brand new banked track in the Wyland Center at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

In their season opener the San Diego Derby Dolls took a solid win from Arizona Roller Derby with a final score of 133-78 last Saturday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Though the score ping ponged between the two teams for the first few jams, it was SDDD who eventually gained a solid lead over AZRD and defended it to the end.
The San Diego Derby Dolls are set for their most exciting season ever, having finally reached their goal of bringing a banked track to San Diego. The banked track season gets started on February 6th in Del Mar, but the flat track team will debut with a new look this Saturday.
The second ranked Husker defense was dominant from the opening snap, holding Arizona to just over 100 total yards in a 33-0 Holiday Bowl thrashing. Jeff Creps files a complete game report:
