A big man with a big smile is hoping to make a big impact on the Chargers defensive line. 5th round draft pick Cam Thomas made his first appearance in a lightning bolt and shoulder pads today at Chargers Park in the team’s opening day of rookie orientation camp.
Thomas, nicknamed “Smiley” at the University of North Carolina, spoke to the media after his first practice as a professional. 619 Sports’ Craig Elsten and SDNN videographer Steven Bartholow were there to file this video report:
